Lake Shikotsu, Shikotsu-Toya National Park
Shikotsu-Toya National Park is located in the southwestern part of Hokkaido and is a caldera lake that boasts some of Japan’s best water quality. In the surrounding area, visitors can see various types of volcanoes and volcanic terrain, such as Mt. Fuppushi , Mt. Eniwa and Mt. Tarumae. Even now, it is still surrounded by pristine virgin forests and majestic nature.
